2018 Tax Season Reflections From A Inland Empire Tax Professional

As I write, it’s the day before tax day (which is Tuesday the 17th), and we are pushing hard during this final stretch. Procrastinators in Inland Empire are streaming through our doors, both virtual and actual (after all, we welcome them here), the phone is ringing off the hook, and my email inbox is overflowing.

Another year, another tax day in Inland Empire.

In all seriousness, today is an extremely busy day for us here at Garrett & Associates, CPA — but as I am a person of ritual, I’m taking the time to write a note on this, of all days (though you may be receiving it later in the week, especially depending on how this day goes).

Yes, we’ll have a bit of a respite after the individual filings (and a slew of other things) that are due tomorrow. But since we work so closely with businesses in Inland Empire, we don’t take the same kind of extended vacation of which many of our colleagues avail themselves after tax season’s completion.

But today’s date gives me the chance to say (again): We are extremely grateful for our Inland Empire client’s trust.

It’s always been our hope that we take a process that is so painful and time-consuming (with so much waste), and we convert it into a profitable enterprise for your business, through smart tax planning and the coaching of our Inland Empire clients. We’re proud to say that we have seen many of those stories this year, as we’ve continued to grow on the strength of our Inland Empire client’s referrals.

I won’t be sharing strategic business wisdom today (I hope you’ll forgive our needing to stay focused), but I would like to make one last request:
